Bend Company Calls Cannabis "The Next Jewel in Oregon's Crown of Craft Industries"
BEND, Ore., June 17 –Oregrown Industries, Oregon’s premier craft cannabis company, is the official music sponsor of the 2016 Bite of Bend, bringing bluegrass, country, indie and American root bands from around the country to Central Oregon’s largest food festival this weekend, June 17-19.
In addition to sponsoring the music, Oregrown’s Aviv Hadar and Hunter Neubauer will discuss cannabis edibles and the role of cannabis in the culinary experience in a special presentation on the Top Chef stage this Saturday at 12:15 P.M.
“We are proud to support the 2016 Bite of Bend,” says Hadar. “The Bite brings the best locally produced foods and beverages together with the people who make them and the people who love them. It’s a celebration of the wealth of local talent and the amazing bounty we enjoy in Central Oregon.”
Less than two years after Oregon legalized marijuana for adults, cannabis is quickly taking its place among the state’s craft food and beverage industries. Hadar says it’s no accident that Oregrown Industries is at the forefront of that movement.
“Oregrown is, in all ways, a local business, and we are committed to fostering the spirit of craft and community,” Hadar says. “In recent years, Oregon has gained an international reputation for our food, beer, wine and spirits. We are very excited to make cannabis the next jewel in Oregon’s crown of craft industries.”
Oregrown invites adults enjoying the Bite of Bend to visit their flagship dispensary a block away from the festival at 1199 NW Wall Street.
Oregrown is Oregon’s premier farm-to-table cannabis company. Offering an upscale retail experience with an amazing staff and high-end products including solventless extractions and one-of-a-kind cultivars, Oregrown continues to innovate, develop and release world-class offerings, delivery methods and applications to patients and recreational customers.
