Oregrown Team Rider John Spriggs

John Spriggs has had one of the most versatile careers in free skiing. He first started skiing freestyle moguls in the 90’s and switched to competitive Slopestyle, and Big air contests, with the Us Freeskiing open in the early 2000’s. He quickly grew his competitive career and competed in the 2006, 2007, and 2008 Winter X Games. Spriggs was also filming full video parts for major ski production companies, such as, Rage Films (out of Bend, or), Poor Boyz Productions and Teton gravity Research. Spriggs traveled the world skiing both parks and pipe, as well as backcountry. In the 2008/9 season Spriggs focused more of his energy and attention on filming in the backcountry. In that season he filmed “Everyday is a Saturday” with Poor Boyz Productions, which landed him, Cr Johnson and Tanner Hall, Powder Segment of the year and movie of the year!
